JOHNNY CARSON

Our business relationship with Johnny Carson got nipped in the bud.  Mother nature stepped in and no one was happy about it. We booked a three show tour in our primary markets of Seattle, Vancouver BC and Portland.  We could predict from early ticket sales that all three shows were likely to sell out. Everyone was pleased and it looked as if the tour was going to be a winner. Unfortunately, about a week before Johnny was to arrive, the Northwest was hit with one of the biggest snowstorms in history and everything shut down completely.  All of our box offices were closed, stores were shuttered, no one went to work, and ticket sales came to a screeching halt. A small tour that was destined to be a big success, ended up losing a lot of money. Mr. Carson was displeased and we were too.
